RIZAL MONUMENT

The Rizal statue in front of Pulilan Municipal Hall is a tribute to the Philippine national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.  It was unveiled on May 15, 1924, in commemoration of the 112th anniversary of Rizal's martyrdom. It was donated by a private organization called the "Gintong Kaunlaran ng Pulilan Foundation" as a tribute to the life and legacy of Rizal, and as a reminder of the importance of education and patriotism.

The statue serves as a reminder of Rizal's legacy as a writer, thinker, and patriot who fought for Philippine independence from Spanish colonial rule. It symbolizes the values of education, patriotism, and national unity that Rizal stood for. The statue is made of bronze, and it has become an important cultural landmark in the area, serving as a source of pride and inspiration for the community.
