Adriano Salvador House

ADRIANO SALVADOR HOUSE

Dr. Adriano Salvador is a former municipal president of the merged towns of Quingua (Plaridel and San Isidro (Pulilan). Because of him, Pulilan became an independent town in 1909. As a teacher, he used his house, the “Adriano Salvador House” to become a classroom in “Escuela Publica” in 1882. It also became a place for important political and social conferences in which it was called as “Malaca?an of Pulilan”

        

The Adriano Salvador House is a “bahay na bato” type of house. The “bahay na bato” features in Adriano Salvador house is very evident in the plans where it has a “zaguan” and “silong” in the ground floor that has stone walls and in the details where some of those is the “ventanilla” and “concha”.
