The main source of water for Metro Manila, this river traverses 11 barangays of Pulilan; rich in local fishes and ulang (or freshwater lobster), water hyacinth is all over the place which serves as the livelihood of some of the constituents; the Local Leaders headed by Mayor Maia Rosari Ochoa-Montejo has come up with the River Tour Program showcasing the enchanting beauty of Ilog-Angat and the potentials to be a sort of esplanade; infrastructure interventions have started to be visible towards the attainment of its recreational goals for the Pulilenyos, Visitors and other nature trippers.
